In an attempt to increase staff attendance, on Sept. 1st I am going to privately contact two of this site's most active non-staff members and offer the opportunity to mod on this site. This will mean that two of the current moderative staff, who have not been active as much as they should be will lose their positions. My definition of active is being online for about one hour every other day to monitor and clean up their assigned boards. This does NOT mean that the moderators that lose their positions cannot regain their status by becoming more active themselves.
I WILL BE DOING THIS ON THE FIRST OF EVERY MONTH. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE POST THEM HERE AND I'LL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER THEM.

I'm not going to be switching all my mods every month. It's just really on a case to case basis. Basically, if a mod has not been active meaning online a lot, then I'll look for a new one. Most of my current mods have nothing to worry about and we'll see, by the time Sept. 1st rolls around if my mods who've not been as active as I'd have liked become more active then they can keep their positions. This is not the first site that has updated its staff every month, although after Sept. 1st I think I'll update every two months.
To answer your question peter, I'll only revoke admin/global mod status if for some reason he/she absolutely cannot perform their duties.
I hope this has cleared some things up and to this is nothing personal against anybody who may lose their position. It's really just that I'm not going to be able to monitor all of the boards personally all of the time.
