In my pathetic Meta I've got to worry about Beatdown, Burner/Stall, Deck-out/Stall, Normal CCC and maybe 1 guy running Last turn.
Last Turn and OTK-cyber-mill sem like the most dangerous decks at the moment and I hate losing the match to either of them.
I usually Keep my sidedeck and fusion deck the same no matter which of my advanced deck I'm playing (I think I would chenge my side deck a bit for traditional format but haven't played a Trad. Tournament in forever)
Side Deck:
2 Kenitic Soldiers (great to run into DDAs or kill BLSes)
2 King Tiger Wangu (gg vs Last Turn, very useful)
3 Dust Tornado (I can never fit these into the maindeck)
2 Mobius the Frost Monarch (of course)
2 Books of Moon (I usually play 1 BoM & 1 Tsuki main)
2 Mystical Swordsman lv2 (great at stopping flippers)
2 Divine Wraths (Haven't sided these in for a while)
one piece of tech I am aware of is Chain Disappearance:
You can only activate this card when a monster with an ATK of 1000 or less is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned or Special Summoned. Remove the monster from play and your opponent removes all monsters of the same name in his/her hand and Deck from play. His/her Deck is then shuffled.
so look at this card, I play tsuki-morph-goatcontrol-chaos myself and I don't want everyone to start boarding this trap.
you can activate it when your opponent morphs something into TER to destroy Restrict and remove all copies of TER in the fusion deck from play.
you can flip summon your own MoF and then chain this trap and remove all copies of MoF from your opponent's deck and hand from play (you even get to see their hand)
you can chain this to a goat activation and it destroys all 4 goats.
Anyone else have any great side-deck teck? Or if you like we can compare side-decks or discuss how cards affect certain matchups.
